Lorenzo Rossi
Creative Director & Founder
With over 15 years in Milan gamedev history, Lorenzo left the major studio circuit to build a place where gameplay mechanics prioritize emotional resonance over monetization loops.
Field Corner Way Studio wasn't born in a boardroom. It began in a small shared apartment near Via dei Condotti, fueled by Italian espresso and a singular obsession: making games that feel like memories you haven't lived yet.

Our Mission
"To preserve the 'indie soul' while delivering the polish of a triple-A experience."
Our game dev team is a collective of veteran storytellers, rogue mathematicians, and digital painters. We believe that the best games happen when technical constraints meet unbridled artistic vision.

Technical Lead
As one of the most respected indie studio founders in the region, Sofia ensures that our engines hum with efficiency, allowing for breathtaking visuals even on modest hardware.
Beyond our founders, the studio is home to 24 dedicated developers, artists, and testers working from our Rome headquarters. We operate on a flat hierarchy where the best idea wins, regardless of job title.
Join the collectiveEvery jump, every interaction, and every menu click is tested for "feel." If it doesn't evoke the right emotion, we strip it back and start again. We build for the human on the other side of the screen.
No crunch, no deceptive trailers. We maintain a healthy environment for our staff because overworked creative minds cannot innovate. We share our progress—flaws and all—with our community.
Being based in Rome, we are surrounded by layers of history. This naturally bleeds into our world-building—creating environments that feel aged, lived-in, and significant.
At Field Corner Way Studio, we believe that creative environment is everything. Our space in Via dei Condotti is designed to be quiet when you need focus, and loud when you need inspiration.
We’ve curated a library of 1,000+ indie titles and art books, an analog sound-recording booth for fader-junkies, and a kitchen that serves better pasta than most restaurants in the district. We don't just "work" here; we grow here.
